On your quest to unlock every vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll eventually want to access the Trickster vocation. We’ve outlined the steps to get started. Read on for all the details.
In Dragon’s Dogma 2, you can unlock a total of 10 vocations — or character classes — on your playthrough. Each comes with a set of unique strengths and combat skills, which you can effectively learn to wield with the aid of designated Vocation Maisters. This is the only way to master the vocation of your choice and unlock Advanced Vocations, such as the Warfarer and Mystic Spearhand. The Trickster falls under this umbrella as well, meaning you’ll have to meet with the proper maister to access the new class. Here’s what you’ll need to do to unlock the Trickster vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

How to Get the Trickster Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2
Once you make it to Battahl in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you can easily unlock the Trickster vocation by speaking with the Vocation Maister, Luz. You’ll find this teacher at the Reverent Shrine, which is a small building nestled by the river in the area. You can speak with her inside, though you’ll need to go through pretty much all the conversation options to effectively unlock the new vocation.
If you don’t find Luz here, don’t worry. To fix the problem, you’ll just need to follow the game’s main story until you reach the Flickering Shadows quest. From there, you’ll be taken back to Luz with the natural progression of the story. While it’s not actually necessary to complete this quest to unlock the Trickster vocation, it guarantees you’ll be brought to the right place to learn from Luz.
