Want to know how to import your Dragon’s Dogma 2 demo premade character? This article will explain all the necessary steps.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the popular RPG made by Capcom in 2012. The developers released an interesting “demo” two weeks before the official release. The demo in question is actually a Character Creator, allowing you to play around character appearances, vocations, etc. Now that the game is live, can you use those pre-generated characters in the game? Read on to see how to import your Dragon’s Dogma 2 demo premade character into the game.

Dragon’s Dogma 2: How to Import Your Premade Character

Before the game’s official launch, we had a character-creation “Demo” which allowed us to try out the generator a bit. Now, as the game has launched, you can import those characters you already made, so you can spend more time playing and less on character creation.

There are two steps in importing a premade character in Dragon’s Dogma 2. First, you have to make a character in the demo and set it as your chosen character. And second, you have to import it in-game.

How to Create a Character

Naturally, before we can import a premade character into the game, we first have to make one. Use the Character Creator demo to do so. You can set your character’s race, appearance, and starting vocation (Fighter, Archer, Mage, and Thief). You can do the same for your Main Pawn. When you have done so and have finalized the character, a message will appear stating “This character’s data is currently set to carry over to Dragon’s Dogma 2.”

With the character ready to import, now you should start the game. During the prologue, you will get to the part where you can pick one of the inmates as your character. One of them is hooded, with its back turned. That is the option to create your own character, and that is the one you should pick.

Once you do so, you’ll be asked if you want to “Use existing character data to create the Arisen”. Select “yes” and it will load your premade character. Select “Finalize” and confirm, and you’re good to go.
