Diablo 4 – How To Summon A Golem As A Necromancer
The path to summoning a Golem in Diablo 4 involves a journey of leveling and questing. You must first level your Necromancer to level 25. Once you’ve hit this milestone, a priority class quest named “Necromancer: Call of the Underworld” will appear in your quest log. Initiate tracking of this quest and follow the path to get your Golem. At this point in time, you will have unlocked your undead minions, the Skeletal Warriors, Skeletal Mages, and Skeletal Reapers, who carve the flesh of corpses with their scythe.
Your destination lies northwest of Menestad, at the mysterious Shrine of Rathma. Here, you’ll encounter an NPC, Maltorius. Engage with them to move the quest forward and collect 12 Unbroken Bones. Conveniently, nearby foes drop these needed items. After gathering the required amount, return to Maltorius.
Your quest doesn’t end here, though. Next, you’ll be tasked with obtaining a vile artifact from the Bitter Cave. To find it, head south, veer west when you can, and then continue south while keeping your eyes peeled to the west for the cave entrance.
Once inside, seek out the Jar of Souls, interact with it, and then brace yourself for the onslaught of foes that appear. Battle bravely until the Jar of Souls is filled, denoted by a progress bar. When filled, Maltorius will reappear, and the Call of the Underworld quest is fulfilled soon after.
Where Is the Summon Golem Skill in Diablo 4?
With the completion of the quest, you’re finally ready to summon your undead Bone Golem. By pressing ‘S‘ or the designated console button, you’ll open the Skill Assignment menu. You’ll find the Golem skill at the bottom; assign it to your skill menu hotbar and your other Necromancer skills. As if conjured from hell itself, your Golem will be summoned! Congratulations, Necromancer, on your new ally!
How To Unlock Blood & Iron Golems in Diablo 4
Summoning Golems in Diablo 4 can truly take your gameplay to the next level as a Necromancer. As someone who’s spent countless hours in this compelling universe, I can share that there are three types of Golems you could potentially have at your side. However, right now, you’ll need to hold your horses if you’re eyeing the Iron or Blood Golem, as these two types were not available in the open beta, but with the final game launch, you can now reach higher levels and unlock them.
To gain the might of the Blood Golem, your Necromancer must reach level 28. As for the Iron Golem, it’s a bit more of a climb, requiring you to hit level 32. It’s a tad bittersweet, I know, but let’s keep going. The journey to unlocking these powerful allies is as much fun as using them in battle, as who needs weapons when you have massive Golems?!?
