This article will explain everything that you need to know.
How to begin playing Season 2 in Diablo 4?
The main difference between playing seasonal content and Eternal Realm content is in the type of character that you create. You can always go back to your Eternal Realm characters, but they can’t take part in Season Journey or interact with season mechanics.
With that in mind, to start playing Season 2, you should first create a new Seasonal Character. One of the most important steps when creating a seasonal character is to choose if you want to play the campaign again or skip the campaign entirely. If you choose to play the campaign, you will first have to finish it before starting the seasonal questline. However, if you skip the campaign, then you can start the seasonal questline right away. Note that you have to have finished the campaign at least once to get the option to skip it.
