Are you stuck in a dungeon in Diablo IV and would like to leave more efficiently? Read this article to learn the best ways to do it.
Dungeons are one of the most appealing parts of Diablo IV for players. Dungeons are unique locations and are exciting due to the intricate puzzles and their own sets of challenges, as well the suspense felt while exploring. Dungeons have always been a big part of the Diablo games, regardless of if you play on PC, Xbox Series X, or PlayStation 5.
Dungeons in Diablo 4 are unique areas designed to provide challenging gameplay and rewarding loot. They are typically underground locations filled with enemies, traps, and puzzles. Inside you can find deadly enemies, quests, powerful items, thrilling themes, and more. Dungeons can have unique looks and layouts, giving plenty of variety in how they are tackled.
How To Exit Dungeons in Diablo IV
There are three methods to exit dungeons in Diablo IV: backtracking to the entrance, using the map, or utilizing the Action Wheel.
- Backtracking to the Entrance:
- Backtracking to the entrance involves manually navigating back to the dungeon’s entrance and interacting with the exit. While scenic, it can be time-consuming. Keep in mind you can’t use mounts in dungeons.
- Using the Map:
- Open the map and click on the dungeon entrance to Leave. This teleports the player back to the overworld just outside the dungeon, saving them from manually carrying all the loot back.
- Action Wheel:
- ring up the Action Wheel, then select the “Leave Dungeon” option represented by a set of cracked stairs. Similar to the map option, using the Action Wheel takes the player back to the Sanctuary map outside the dungeon entrance.
Both the map and Action Wheel options are available in all dungeons, even if the main boss hasn’t been defeated. I recommend these fast travel options to maximize time for exploration, quests, and boss battles in Diablo IV. But if you are like me and enjoy the Diablo IV art style, feel free to turn around and make your way back, taking in the scenery. Just keep an eye out for the Butcher while exploring the dungeon map.
