Need to know how to get the Gravitational Aspect in Diablo 4? We’ve got you covered. We’ll go over what you can do to obtain this aspect and how to use it for an optimal character build.
With the launch of Diablo 4 Season 2, players are exploring their options for seasonal character builds. While the Barbarian and Druid classes are receiving a lot of love this season, just as many players are trying their hand at creating the best Sorcerer builds. Adept at casting spells and teleporting, this magic-reliant class can use each of the elements to their advantage. That said, those partial to lightning will likely seek out the Gravitational Aspect to optimize their build. So, what is this item and how do you get it? Let’s get into it.
How to Get the Gravitational Aspect in Diablo 4
Unlike other aspects and items, you can’t obtain the Gravitational Aspect by completing dungeons in Diablo 4. Instead, you’ll need to get your hands on a variety of different Legendary gear items for a chance to claim one equipped with this type of aspect. Specifically, they can be found attached to the following item types: one- and two-handed weapons, gloves, rings, and amulets.
Look for places with the best Legendary Item drops. Farming dungeons and World Bosses should up your odds of finding what you need. Additionally, some Legendary items may drop during Blood Harvest events. And don’t forget you can visit the Purveyor of Curiosities and try your luck in gambling away your Murmuring Obols for some Legendaries. Be sure to be in World Tier 3 or 4 for better chances of finding one.
How to Use Gravitational Aspect in Diablo 4
Locating Gravitational Aspects is just half the battle. Once you’ve acquired a few Legendary gear pieces equipped with Gravitational Aspects, you can either choose to wear them as is or take them to the Occultist for safe removal. Once they’ve been extracted, they’ll be placed in your inventory, not your Codex of Power, for later use. You can then imprint them to more desirable gear items with better stats, though you should bear in mind that these items are single-use. This means they cannot be removed once applied to gear.
In any case, wearing a gear item equipped with a Gravitational Aspect will lend you the object’s power. Weigh your options to decide which gear items best suit the build you’re aiming to attain.

What Does the Gravitational Aspect Do in Diablo 4?
Gravitational Aspects are items to be used by Sorcerers in Diablo 4. Their offensive effects can be particularly helpful in creating a build centered around the lightning skill. When equipped, Ball Lightning orbits around your character. However, damage will be decreased by 10-20%.
While this is a toss-up that may not be favored by all, the Ball Lightning Sorcerer is one of our top builds for this class. We highly recommend seeking out Gravitational Aspects if you’re looking for a powerful Sorcerer build in the Season of Blood.
