D4 is massive, and being an “always online” game it is bound to have some issues. Error codes spring up right and left, mostly due to servers being overpopulated. But is Error Code 316005 one of them, or is it a different issue? Read on and find out.
How Do You Fix Error Code 316005 in Diablo 4?
This Code is related to the number of characters you have made, i.e., reaching the maximum. You’ll have to delete one of your characters to make room. Follow these steps to fix Error Code 316005 in Diablo 4.
- Launch Diablo 4 and log in.
- From the Main Menu find the character selection screen.
- Choose the character you want to delete. On the right-hand side of your screen, there is a Delete Character option.
- This will prompt a confirmation screen, where you have to type in the name of a character in question. Proceed with the final Delete button.
- Once that is done return to the main menu.
- Go to the character selection menu and try creating a new character. The Error Code 316005 should no longer appear, allowing you to successfully create a new character.
- From the Diablo action RPG series from Blizzard, the Archangel of Justice has been given the Pop!
What is Error Code 316005?
This message appears when there are no available character slots. That means you have reached the maximum of 10 characters on your account. So, you will manually have to make room for a new one, as described above.
