Diablo 4 – How to Find Missing Side Quests

Many players have that completionist note in them and want to go through everything Diablo 4 has to offer. This article will explain how to find missing Side Quests in Diablo 4.

Side Quests have been a staple of RPGs for a while now. Previous iterations of Diablo weren’t so keen on Side Quests but Diablo 4 has fully embraced them. Side Quests in Diablo 4 offer you rewards, XP, loot, and Renown points. Some of them have really cool plots for those players who like to immerse themselves in the world of Sanctuary. But if you haven’t found them all, how do you find missing Side Quests in Diablo 4?

Finding Missing Side Quests in Diablo 4

Some Side Quests only appear after certain conditions are met. These can range from finding a Quest Item (light blue color) as a random drop, hitting a certain Level, clearing out a Stronghold, interacting with containers, etc. Side Quests you haven’t started are shown as a blue exclamation mark on your map. Side Quests in progress you will see as a blue diamond-shaped marker. If there are no markers on your map and you know that more Side Quests exist, that probably means you have to “trigger” them.

How to Know if You Have Missed Any Side Quests?

To see if you have missed some Side Quests in the region you are in, open up the Map (Tab on PC) and then the Renown screen (W on PC). There you will find Side Quests, with the numbers of completed and the number of total Quests in the area. For example, 13/32 means you have finished 13 out of a total of 32 Side Quests in the area. So if you see that some Quests are remaining, and there are no markers on your map, it’s time to meticulously comb the area.

Dry Steppes

• Sealed Penitent’s Cache – Sealed Penitent’s Cache, dropped when killing Undead enemies in The Scarred Coast

• Better Days – Legacies of Light’s Watch in Margrave
• Exorcist’s Cache – Sealed Exorcist’s Cache, dropped by Undead enemies in Frigid Expanse
• Forgive Me – Bloodied Note from Julek, Herald of Woe in Tor Dragon Barracks
• Frostbloom – Frostbloom, found when gathering herbs in The Pallid Glade
• Gory Display – Warrior’s Chain, from Khazra mobs or when looting bodies in Frigid Expanse
• Hungering Bone Cache – Hungering Bone Cache, from body looting in The Pallid Glade
• Icebound Geode – Icebound Geode, found when mining ore in Gale Valley
• Righteous Idol – Carved Wooden Knight from Tsvemir, an armor vendor, in Yelesnar after completing the Unwritten End side quest and completing the campaign

• Chained Zakurum Repository – Chained Zakurum Repository, found when looting corpses in Dismal Foothills
• Drink to the Past – Kingsport Ale, found by looting chests in Belfry Zakara at Rotspill Delta after completing the Brought to Heel quest
• Glittering Abundance – Gem-laden Geode, found when mining ore in Fethis Westlands
• Good Riddance – Forgotten Crossbow, from lotting corpses in Rotspill Delta
• Heart’s Burden – Rusted Dagger, found on Child’s corpse in The Writhing Mire
• Hungering Necrolyte’s Cache – Hungering Necrolyte’s Cache, from looting bodies in Toxic Fens
• One Little Red Sprig – Budding Crimson Thorn, when you get Angelbreath herbs in Rotspill Delta

• Breaga’s Chronicles – A History of Scosglen, from killing Khazra or Wildwood enemies around Gaothmar Grasslands
