Diablo 4 is full of Side Quests and thankfully, not all of them are solved by bashing things. Keeping the Old Traditions is one such Quest in Diablo 4 and this article will show you how to do it.
Being an Action RPG it stands to reason to think that most of Diablo 4 will revolve around fighting. But, sometimes, Side Quests are more like puzzles that leave some players scratching their heads in confusion. To go one step further, some Quests fall into the riddle category, and Keeping the Old Traditions is one such Quest. Let’s see how to do the Keeping the Old Traditions quest in Diablo 4.
How To Start the “Keeping the Old Traditions” Quest
To begin the quest, first, you need to find the Lonely Offering. To do so, you have to travel to the Untamed Scarps area in Dry Steppes. North of the Champion’s Demise Dungeon (highlighted on the map below) is a cliff you can climb. On its top, you will find the Lonely Offering book. The book will give you a riddle: ”Though timeworn, you endure. Before your colorful, kin, I say: Yes, I keep our traditions!”. This will begin the Quest and highlight the area where to go next.
How to Complete Keeping the Old Traditions in Diablo 4
After picking up the Lonely Offering, head to the area highlighted on your map (make sure that “Keeping the Old Traditions” is your Active Quest). There, look for a big statue embedded in the wall. Then what? The answer is in the riddle itself: ”Though timeworn, you endure. Before your colorful, kin, I say: Yes, I keep our traditions!”. So, approach the statue and use the Yes emote. That will spawn a reward Chest and opening it will complete the quest. Just make sure that the Yes emote is on your action wheel. If not, when you open the Emote Wheel (E on PC), and then go to Customize. Once there, find Yes and add it to the Wheel.
