In Season 20 of Destiny 2, swords are in a rough spot. Bungie had taken a heavy-handed swing at melee weapons and builds with a nasty series of nerfs. However, that doesn’t always stop certain weapons from being fun. The Titan-exclusive sword, Throne-Cleaver, is one such weapon. Here are the rolls to chase for this reprised Heavy weapon.
How to get Throne-Cleaver in Destiny 2
This is a bit tricky. At the time of this writing, the Throne-Cleaver is a sunset weapon from Season of the Menagerie. However, checking third-party sites that can utilize the API, we can see that Throne-Cleaver is set to come back in Season 20. The Titan Heavy sword will be craftable and thus leveled up. Once we learn how to acquire it properly, we’ll make sure to update this article.

Throne-Cleaver God Rolls
PvE God Roll – Throne-Cleaver
- Tempered Edge: Increased sword damage and ammo.
- Enhanced Duelist’s Trance: Sword final blows grant increased charge rate, efficiency, and defense until this weapon is stowed.
- Enhanced Surrounded: This weapon gains improved bonus damage when three or more targets are in close proximity.
PvP God Roll – Throne-Cleaver
- Enduring Blade: Greatly increased sword ammo at the cost of damage.
- Enhanced Thresh: Killing combatants with this weapon generates a small amount of Super energy.
- Enhanced En Garde: Quick attacks immediately after swapping to this sword do additional damage.
