How to catch seahorses in Dave the Diver
The first thing to note is that you won’t be able to catch seahorses right away in Dave the Diver – as you won’t have the right gear. To net a seahorse you’re going to need a bug net, which you get after completing the Reticent Girl quest in Chapter 2 Into the Deep. Once you have the net, you won’t need to look to far to find seahorses. Unlike some of the other aquatic creatures in the game, Seahorses are a bit easier to find, and you can find them all in Sea People Village.
They are scattered around the place, with at least four Seahorses in guaranteed locations. Make sure you have the bug net equipped, then swim up to the fish you want to catch. You’ll see a spacebar icon appear when you’re at the optimal distance. That’s when you should complete the swing and capture a Seahorse.
Dave the Diver sea horse locations
You can find Seahorses in proximity to the Sea People Village. However, you can find two sure-fire catches on the outside lower level of the village. The other two are in the palace and at the herbalist’s building respectively.
You can catch more Seahorses in the vicinity of the village and near different terrain features. To catch a Seahorse, you will need to use the Bug Net. Approach the Seahorse and get into position for a swing. Then, swing the net and monitor Dave’s head. You’ll see a spacebar icon appear when you’re at the optimal distance. That’s when you should complete the swing and capture a Seahorse.
Now that you’re equipped to catch Seahorses, you can read another Dave the Diver guide, like How To Catch Moray Eel in Dave the Diver or how to catch Tuna in Dave the Diver. Happy fishing.
