All New Features in Cult of the Lamb: Sins of the Flesh Update
The upcoming Sins of the Flesh update for Cult of the Lamb is bringing massive changes to the game. Most notably, the so-called “sex update” will allow your Followers to hatch eggs and raise new cultists — but that’s not all the content update has to offer. Let’s break down what’s coming to the game next week.
- Sin-Based Progression — The next update will introduce the Sin resource, which plays a key role in the progression system and fleshes out your cult — no pun intended. As your Followers are strung along an increasingly sinful path, they’ll fall into tiers, the most loyal of which will become Disciples.
- Procreation — The feature that earned Sins of the Flesh the colloquial title of the “sex update” among fans of the game is actually one of the biggest improvements to come. When the update drops, your Followers will be able to grow closer and nurture eggs, which will eventually hatch. Naturally, this comes with a chance to indoctrinate a new generation of loyal cultists.
- Quality-of-Life Improvements — Several improvements are set to be made when it comes to caring for your Followers. A variety of new and bigger buildings will be introduced, streamlining cult practices from chores to devious plans. This comes alongside smaller details like shiny poops, which can help to produce better crops and increase XP for brooms.
- New Collectibles — Sins of the Flesh will bring several new collectibles to the table. This includes a handful of new outfits and the new Blunderbuss weapon to obtain.
