Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is right around the corner, but that doesn’t mean that Activision is abandoning Modern Warfare 3. Season 5 is in full swing and the latest update for September 5th will keep players busy while they wait for Treyarch’s first entry in four years when it finally launches on October 25th.

- Fixed an issue preventing players from using a Deployable Buy Station more than once.
- Fixed an issue with Utility Boxes not tracking properly in the Social Warzone Rewards Challenge.
- Fixed an issue with the Redeploy Drone Beacon not counting towards “Use 10 Field Upgrades” daily challenge.
Season 5 is set to end on September 18th which will lead into Season 6, bringing the final season before Black Ops 6 launches on October 25th. As with previous entries, Black Ops 6 will be integrated into the same ecosystem that the other titles are in, keeping them all accessible and connected to each other.
The Black Ops 6 beta was a huge success last weekend and players can once again hop in this weekend when the game enters open beta between September 6th-9th. It was one of the most fun Call of Duty experiences that many have had in some time, with some players calling it “the best Call of Duty since Black Ops 3.”
