Eight Maps Will Be Added to the Existing Pool at the Launch of Call of Duty Black Ops 6

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Omnimovement

The wait for the launch of Black Ops 6 is a long one, and the players are becoming antsy. Since the devs decided against giving early access to the Campaign Mode, the players feel like they’ll wait for an eternity. Truth be told, the longer the wait, the more time the players have to re-examine any and all aspects of the game. Recently, the players shared their opinions on everything, including the Multiplayer Mode, Omnimovement, and even the SBMM. If you’ve played the beta, you know that some hard-core Call of Duty players weren’t very happy with the existing eight maps in Black Ops 6. The good news is that the devs will add another eight maps at launch.

Which Maps Are Coming to Black Ops 6?

Recently, the developers shared some more details about what the players should expect on launch day. They wrote a blog post that revealed many exciting additions, including an entire section on maps. The devs also discussed the map sizes, which was quite a controversial topic during the beta.

The added maps will be Vault, Protocol, Lowtown, Vorkuta, Red Card, Subsonic, Payback, and Warhead. Making the total number of maps at launch 16. The majority of the maps will be medium, some will be small, and there will be 4 Strike maps (Warhead, Pit, Gala, Stakeout).

The devs noted: “Map size and game flow are critically important to us, and we look forward to seeing you all jump into all 16 brand-new maps at launch, with many more to follow in our live seasons. We’re also evaluating some changes to cover placement across multiple maps, including some of our Beta maps”.

Call of Duty Players Share Their Favorite Maps From the Beta

Even though the Call of Duty players weren’t particularly satisfied with the eight maps in the Black Ops 6 beta, as time passes, they report actually missing them. In fact, many players changed their opinion and they now gladly praise some of the maps.

Fans chose Skyline, Derelict, and Babylon as their favorite maps. Only-Middle-3530 noted: “Babylon, Skyline, and Derelict. And I loved them!” Positive_Doubt_9084 confirmed: “Derelict is easily the best and the most fun. 2nd Babylon, 3rd skyline, and the rest are okay. Scud would be up there if the satellite was reworked”.

Call us basic, but we thoroughly enjoyed these maps, especially Skyline. Also, we should mention Rewind, as well. Hopefully, the new maps will be at least as good as the existing ones. We can’t wait for October 25, how about you?
