How To Get Hirelings in Baldur’s Gate 3
Hirelings can be recruited by talking to Withers at your camp and spending 100 Gold per Hireling. Withers the undead entity can be found in the Dank Crypt dungeon, located by travelling through the Ancient Door by the Overgrown Ruins waypoint.
Players will have to open a sarcophagus he resides inside in the small room at the back of the crypt and answer his questions. He will then travel to your camp and hang out near the edge of camp by the boat.
It is worth noting, that you can only hire hirelings if you have a spare party slot, if you have a full party, for example, yourself, Shadowheart, Karlach, and Lae’zel you would have to leave one of these warriors of the absolute warband at the camp to create space for a hireling.
You can dismiss hirelings by speaking to Withers and selecting the “dismiss hireling” option.
