- If you completed the Underdark challenge and unlocked its entrance, you will be able to access the Shadow-Cursed Lands through the Underdark entrance. There, you can talk to Nere and obtain a Moon Lantern for your journey ahead.
- In the second scenario, if you enter Act 2 through Mountain Pass, you need to head west until you come across a spider man. Call him using the Minthara’s Spider Lyre and win a charisma check while talking to him to obtain his Moon Lantern.
How To Fix A Broken Moon Lantern Baldur’s Gate 3
If you have reached farther into Shadow-Cursed Lands without finding a single Moon Lantern yet, there is still a way to get one. When you reach the Moonrise Towers in the area, you will meet Balthazar, who wants you to find a Nightson for him. You can find Balthazar’s study in a secret room on the first floor of Moonrise Towers.
In order to open the secret room, you need to first activate the bookcase row in the area and then take a heart from one of the corpses on the floor and insert it into the receptacle. Finally, the hidden room door will be revealed to you. You will find a bunch of broken Moon Lanterns on the floor. Make a ritual circle and use a dead pixie inside the room to fix one of the broken Moon Lanterns.
Now, with a Moon Lantern in your possession, you can traverse the Shadow-Cursed Lands with no fear and find all the secrets hidden inside this bizarre place.
