How To Get S Rank in Armored Core 6 Missions
Single-player missions in Armored Core 6 all have different conditions for awarding players with an S rank. However, to guarantee an S rank, you’ll generally want to:
- Use as little ammunition as possible.
- Take minimal damage.
- Complete the mission as fast as possible.
- Not use any checkpoints or respawns throughout the mission.
In some missions, you might have to kill special enemies or complete certain objectives to achieve the highest grade. So make sure to finish everything before ending the mission.

Conserving Ammunition
Having a big chunk of ammunition left at the end of the round is important as well. When going in, try to use as little ammo as you need since this plays a role in your final rank. Of course, you can’t kill every enemy without ammo, so just try your best.
Taking Minimal Damage
The damage you take in your mission is also a pretty big factor in what rank you get. If you’re able to take out enemies and complete objectives without taking any damage, this will result in a boost to your chances of getting an S rank. This is much easier said than done, especially at the later levels when enemies are faster and stronger.
Completion Time
This is a pretty straightforward condition and one set in almost every rank-based game. The time it takes you to complete a mission is what shows how efficient you are. If you’re taking longer than the average player or running around just for fun, you can probably say goodbye to your S rank. So when playing for the rank, always finish as quickly as possible.
No Respawns At Checkpoints
This is regarded as the S rank-nullifier in the Armored Core 6 community. That’s because if you respawn at a checkpoint throughout a mission, you have almost no chance of receiving an S grade at the end. The better option is to just restart the mission entirely if you’re playing for the grade.
Special Requirements
Special requirements aren’t a part of every mission, but if a mission says you receive a bonus for completing a certain requirement, you should go for it.
