LAG: Videogame Jargon: Or Why Fun Is Ruining Games
LAG says – Our burgeoning tastes in the arts have led us, as gamers, to desire greater things. As an art form, we require critical and constructive public discourse of videogames, and this begins with the development of an essential jargon: a vocabulary which allows us to speak intelligibly and openly about games. The word 'fun' has directly opposed this jargon, infantilizing our public discourse of games.
