"Two-dimensional fighting games have had a rather major resurgence lately, whilst some titles managed to come back from what seemed like the grave to perform stratospherically well – we’re looking at you Street Fighter – other titles have been continually in development but never received the critical acclaim or fame they deserved. Arc System Works have seemingly put aside their long running, and rather sublime, fighting series Guilty Gear for a new one that is just as beautiful to play in every way. BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extended (or BBEX for short) is the latest in this new series, and appears on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PS Vita, and honestly the PS Vita version might just be the most beautiful thing you’ve seen in a while."
