Team Sonic after “something completely new” with 3D ‘forward view’ next-gen

The currently releasing Sonic 4 returns to those 2D view platform roots for the blue hedgehog, but Team Sonic boss Takashi Iizuka wants to go back to the "forward view 3D action".

He wants more Sonic Adventure type fun, but exploring "something completely new" in the 3D space. Next-gen Sonic will "always remain stylised" and not adopt realism – phew!
