"Lemma originally started as an Xbox Live Indie Game. The core idea I wanted to explore was modifying the environment via platformer / action combos. I envisioned the player double jumping to build a platform, or running in a circle to create a tower, or summoning a wall to cross a gap and running across it. A voxel engine (popularized by Minecraft) seemed the best way to give the player maximum flexibility in modifying the environment."
