Samurai Warriors 2 Review (Xbox 360)

While the series may not hold the gusto of Halo or carry the acclaim of Kingdom Under Fire, Dynasty Warriors has enjoyed considerable success in its chosen demographic of Japanese historians and battlefield gurus. Samurai Warriors is a spin-off series that carries much of the same allure as its big, more popular, brother. Battlefields are still very large and spread out, enemies still number in the hundreds, and magical powers still come into play throughout the adventure. Now the only question is whether they’ve been able to add enough new content to usher the series into the next-generation.
