Google: Let’s make TCP faster

Google are experimenting with several improvements to the Transmisson Control Protocol (TCP) to make a faster Internet.

The people working with this goes by the name of “Make The Web Faster Team” and they are currently looking into four potential improvements to the existing protocol.
