Rumor: THQ’s future as a company looking grim

NeoGAF has picked up on a few tweets from videogame analysts who have revealed that publisher THQ has canceled their entire 2014 game line-up, including The Game Workshop’s MMO, Warhammer 40K: Dark Millennium Online.

The tweets in question come from videogame executive Kevin Dent, who recently stated that “Apparently, The Game Workshops MMO has been cancelled by THQ” and eventually followed that up with “they cancelled all of their 2014.” A canceled 2014 lineup can only mean that THQ simply doesn’t have the resources to continue funding future projects, which means that they’re seeking to get bought out or risk going bankrupt.
