Adobe Killing Off Flash Player For Mobile Devices?

Here is something we expected to happen, but to be frank, we never expected it so soon. Rumors are traveling around like wildfire that Adobe is planning to end Flash Player for mobile devices development, and only focus on allowing developers to package flash with Adobe Air applications, whatever that means. It seems Adobe is finally realizing that it is fighting a losing battle on the mobile front, so it is packing up before things go sour.
