Fred’s Fav Five: Survival Horror

"Survival horror games have surprisingly been present in the

video game industry since full motion video was still just some pixels on the

screen. We have certainly come a long way from that era in time. But we still

cling to the thrills of old. Fear is an addicting emotion, coupled with the

adrenaline boost you get when that zombie pops from behind the door and you

feel the undeniable emotion of fear and adrenaline and no matter how much you

fight it you simply must see it through to the end. The satisfaction of

standing up against all the odds and coming out victorious can never be

matched. There is the question though. What makes a survival horror game an

instant hit or an instant flop?"
