Evolution of Halo: Part 1

Velocity Gamer: Microsoft entered the console race at the beginning of the 21st century with their Xbox. The date was November 15th, 2001 and Microsoft launched with quite a few launch games including Project Gotham Racing, Dead or Alive 3, Arctic Thunder, and Fusion Frenzy. Microsoft needed some big hitters; something to attract other console owners to this new SKU other than multi-platform releases. Recently acquired developer, Bungie Studios, was up for the task. Bungie had developed Halo originally for Apple, one of Microsoft's major competitors.
