I’ll admit it; I’m a cynic. And why wouldn’t I be? AAA retail games are getting ever more expensive, blowing crater-sized holes in eager consumers’ pockets before being arbitrarily padded out with endless flurries of soulless DLC cash-ins. And that’s not to mention all that DRM pith that ensures that we get treated like delinquents for having the gall to purchase our games on the PC. Basically, then, it’s easy to see the gaming industry as a mire of faceless corporate greed.
