Loved by fans of the gritty post-apocalyptic genre, the title's critical reception was hampered by a handful of design quirks and technical foibles, such as inconsistent AI.

Determined to improve on some of the shortcomings of the original, European developer A4 Games is trying its hand once more with Metro: Last Light, a direct sequel to Metro 2033.
