PEARCE LINKED WITH WIGAN JOB

Stuart Pearce has been mooted as a possible successor to under-pressure Chris Hutchings at Wigan.

Pearce was given the England Under-21s job on a full-time basis after being sacked as Manchester City boss last season.

And now the Manchester Evening News claims Pearce is in the frame to take over at the JJB Stadium, should Wigan’s poor form continue.
