TIG: Dwarfs!? Quick Review
TIG: "Beer and pizza. Chair and table. Horse and carriage. Peanut butter and jelly. Dwarfs and booze and gold. There are some combinations that, even when executed without any sort of fanciness or extraordinary skill and insight, lead to a satisfying and enjoyable user experience – and Dwarfs!?, developed by Power of 2, is exactly one of these delightful games. It doesn’t break any new ground with its gameplay mechanics (every other review of this game you’ll read will mention Lemmings and Dwarf Fortress, so I won't) or cliché subject matter, but it’s the familiarity of these things that makes Dwarfs!? such an enjoyable play. You know exactly what you’re going to get when you load the game – explosions, beer, treasure, digging, and a bunch of surly, arrogant bastards."
