Is the PlayStation Network Working?

The PlayStation Network went down on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, leaving people unable to play online, download games and do anything else related to the PSN or PlayStation Store. When the PSN originally went down, users who attempted to login were met with the 80710a06 error code. Now, a message reads "PlayStation Network is currently undergoing maintenance" if a PSN login is attempted.
