American Console Sales: 360 Continues On Top, Wii Declining, PS3 Still Low

In the wake of Halo 3’s outstanding debut, the Xbox 360 continues to be the top selling console in America for the fourth week in a row. This is critical for the Xbox 360 considering that prior to these four weeks, the Wii has been outselling the 360 each week this year. The sales high can definitely be contributed to Halo 3, but what is interesting is that Halo 3 has done more than help the 360 – it has hurt the competition.
