VGNetwork.it – The 3rd Birthday is the effort to revive a series that was about to be lost, after more than a decade of silence. Not taking into account the previous (which the name itself urged to do), the game would not be totally evil, a good TPS with sufficient attention to detail and an interesting system for the exchange of bodies, with some minimal RPG elements but always pleasant. But if you come from the beautiful experience of the first two Parasite Eve, this third birthday will probably remain imprinted for a long time, but unfortunately for the wrong reasons. A basal repetition and a limited RPG component prevent The 3rd Birthday to be at the level of their predecessors and to revive a series of the past. Hope remains for a possible Parasite Eve 3, closer to the first two chapters as gameplay mechanics, perhaps on NGP . Will it be a vain hope?
