Amanita Design has said it is unlikely to work with Microsoft in the future.

Founder Jakub Dvorský said that exclusivity clashes have meant there won't be Xbox 360 ports of its games.

"No [Xbox 360 version], because we have had quite bad experience with Microsoft," he said. "So we just gave up with Microsoft. I don't say it's impossible to bring [our] next game to Xbox, but if they demand exclusivity, then we don't want it."

While timed exclusivity on a Microsoft platform could be possible, a long-term arrangement wouldn't be acceptable to the studio.

"Basically, even if it would be financially profitable, or good, that's not our style," said Dvorský. "We just want to bring it… we are an independent company, and we like to think independently. When you sign up with some company then you're tied to them, and I don't like it."
