You’ll Get Some Bonus Armor if You Pre-Order on Xbox
The Arrowhead devs announced the wonderful news in a live stream on July 3. After more than a year and a half since the game was released, it’s coming to Xbox! However, not only did the devs announce the game would be released on Xbox, they also announced that the players could pre-order it!
Helldivers 2 is now available for pre-order. The standard edition of the game costs $39.99. The game arrives bundled with Helldivers 2 Bonus Pre-Order Content. Yup, you’ll get some magnificent armor if you pre-order the game.
The devs listed: “TR-7 Ambassador of the Brand – Promotional armor made by SUMY Corp. as part of a highly successful marketing campaign for frozen yogurt. TR-62 Knight – Crafted to deliver Justice to the darkest crevices of the galaxy. TR-9 Cavalier of Democracy – Bearers of this armor ride no equine mount, but are nonetheless borne to battle atop the trusty steed of Liberty”.
What Is Helldivers 2?
Of course, if you haven’t played Helldivers 2, the great Xbox pre-order bonus armor might not be enough to pull you in. However, the amazing story, wonderful community, and dynamic gameplay should be more than enough!
So, the story started in 2184, a hundred years after the events of the first installment of the game, Helldivers. The Second Galactic War started, with three enemy factions trying to steal territories (planets) from Super Earth, the most democratic force to ever have existed. Helldivers are basically Super Earth’s super soldiers, who are sent to deal with atrocities that regular SEAF troops couldn’t handle.
Now, that sounds fun, right? You can read even more in the official announcement. But, we’ve said it before, and we’ll always say it again, the best part of this game is its community. The players are extremely helpful and kind. Recently, there’s been a community fundraiser where the players united and raised and donated more than $120k to Save the Children.
In other words, we couldn’t recommend this game enough! It’s been one of our personal favorites ever since it dropped.
