Is Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Multiplayer? Can You Play It Co-Op?

Want to know if Prince of Persia: Lost Crown can be played with friends, is it multiplayer? Read on and find out.

Prince of Persia: Lost Crown is about to hit the shelves. This latest installment of the Prince of Persia franchise is going back to its roots and now the game is an action-platformer, rather than a third-person adventure game. Prince of Persia: Lost Crown is a sidescroller but rendered in stunning 3D visuals. You’ll follow a young Immortal on his quest to save his friend from a cursed city. The game is playable on almost every platform, but we figure it is best when played on Nintendo Switch, from the comforts of your couch. Speaking of multiple platforms, will Prince of Persia: Lost Crown be playable cross-platform and Co-Op? Wait, is Prince of Persia: Lost Crown even multiplayer? Let’s find out.

Is Prince of Persia: Lost Crown Multiplayer?

Sadly, no. Prince of Persia: Lost Crown is strictly a single-player experience. As with basically every Prince of Persia game so far, the latest installment will not feature multiplayer, co-op, or anything similar. Especially as Metroidvania games would be a little weird if played with more than one player. Is there any hope that we will get multiplayer in the future?

Will It Have Multiplayer in the Future?

There is absolutely no word on this subject, so better not to get your hopes up. Of course, this is not set in stone, so it may be possible that Ubisoft will release some DLC or expansion pack in the future that features a multiplayer mode. But, knowing that Prince of Persia games, and Metroidvania games in general, are primarily single-player, the chances of the latest installment getting multiplayer are slim at best.
