"The inclusion of a jump move seems to have irritated some die-hard fans, who presumably see it as another example of modern day dumbing-down. Essentially though, by giving less experienced players a small advantage, Fat Shark have made this version more accessible and hopefully this may introduce a new group of gamers to the series. Plus there is a Retro mode which prevents the use of this crutch, so it‘s hardly the end of the world."
