Review: LittleBigPlanet 2 — Examiner

That was the tagline for LittleBigPlanet when it released a couple years ago and at the time the concept Media Molecule was delivering was revolutionary for the home console scene. Never before had a game conveyed such an open and endless entertainment forum for gamers to create their own levels, mini-games, and this concept was a refreshing notion in an industry were genres are becoming trite. Due to the vast and seemingly endless flow of player created content, Media Molecule stated a sequel would never happen, but the unavoidable sequel came forth and Media Molecule has added new content and refined basics from the first game. The big question is, though, are the new inclusions enough to justify the development of this sequel?
