IGN: Alien Breed 3: Descent Review
Alien Breed 3: Descent tops off Team17’s revival fittingly enough. It’s atmospheric, lengthy and ultimately enjoyable though it does little to build upon its heritage, either of the 1991 original or the two games preceding it. For 800 Microsoft Points it’s hard to quibble at what’s a sturdy if unimaginative old school shooter, but its stubborn faith in the original template only goes to show how far you've come.
