Resolution: Sonic Free Riders review

Resolution's Ashton Raze writes: Sonic Free Riders was not a pleasant experience. It’s not that it’s an exceptionally bad game; the courses are reasonably fun for a hoverboarding title, it has all the genre tropes of weapons, collectibles and whatnot. It has a progression system which is pretty decent – collecting rings allows you to unlock new boards and upgrades which improve your boost, speed and whatnot. And you get to play as a variety of Sonic’s friends, which is just fantastic. Ahem.
