Motion Control: A Short History

JD from Coregamer: With the upcoming release of the Kinect, and the not-so-strong release of the PlayStation move, it's good to take a look back at motion control or maybe even virtual reality as a whole. Believe it or not, the Wii remote was not the first game controller to have players get up from their butts and move. In fact, Nintendo even tried doing something like that in the past. Ring a bell? So let's go through the rough history of motion control, to where developers immersed their gamers into their games outside of the usual button mashing.
