Disgaea 4 Finally Features Better Sprites!
One of the biggest issues that people have always had with Disgaea was the dated look of the sprites. Although the game has gone through three incarnations, the latest of which being a PS3 offering, it still possesses art that wouldn't look amiss on primitive consoles.
However, earlier today, Andriasang has revealed that the sprites have indeed been polished. While they lack the phenomenal lighting effects familiar to other titles on modern platforms, they definitely possess more polish than Nippon Ichi's previous titles.
Does this mean that one day we might be privy to actual FMVs?
