Operation Flashpoint 2, first screenshots and trailer

Today Codemasters officially announced the game Operation Flashpoint2: Dragon Rising for PC and consoles. The game will be available somewhere in 2008.

Operation Flashpoint2: Dragon Rising tells the story of an island with a huge oil-reserve between Russia and Japan. Both countries are in conflict with eachother about the ownership of this island. The game starts when Chinese troops launch an attack. You’re in the middle of this explosive situation that could get out of hand.

Soldiers, weapons and vehicles are very realistic, as you can see in the first trailer and screenshots that have been released today.
