What was included in Tecmo Bowl of yesteryear, is what Throwback is all about. That move is likely to appeal to the dedicated fans of the series and leave any newcomers that are curious out in the cold. Throwback isn't a bad game by any stretch of the imagination, it just takes awhile to get comfortable with the gameplay, providing the gamer has experience with the series in the first place".
