Press Start: ‘Lost Planet 2’ demo; 3-D on the PS3
Most hardware updates on video game consoles are pretty ordinary, but the latest firmware upgrade for PlayStation 3 is particularly interesting. The version 3.30 system software officially prepares the Sony console for 3-D stereoscopic gaming. Now, players will still need a 3-D ready television as well as games capable of 3-D action. No word yet on when the first 3-D video games will be available.
