MX vs ATV: REFLEX Review | GameState

GameState: "Since the glory days of excite bike, Motocross genres have been deep in the hearts of gamers.

The button assignments are what make this a very interesting title. Steering, as per usual, is done with your left analog stick. The right analog stick on the other hand, is used as your "reflex" action. This helps with balancing your rider out, taking corners, staying upright on dodgy terrain and preventing a hard landing and a heavy bail. This isn’t your everyday racer and does well trying to execute a sim-like feeling to Motocross in a typically arcade series.

MX vs ATV in the end is fun but probably not something you’d want to shell out your mula for unless it’s in the bargain bin. Instead, if you own a PS3, rather opt for Motorstorm. It’s that much more refined with stronger multiplayer features.

It’s getting a 7.0/10. Not as exciting as the real thing but great for those who don’t wanna kill themselves…"
