In an age where, seemingly, everyone you meet is "health conscious" (or attempting to live healthy), companies are capitalizing on impulsive buyers-and thriving-by producing gimmicky products.
While the gaming community may be better known for their nights spent slouched on the couch… in the dark… in their underwear… accompanied by a bowl of chips and a beer… we gamers apparently require products that (temporarily) get us off our asses and into our workout clothes.
Now, a key characteristic that all "beneficial health products" require is the suggestion that they will take up very little of our precious time and will either be a) fun or b) rewarding. ("You won’t believe how fast time flies-and how good you feel!")
