Burn360: Heavy Rain Review
Heavy Rain isn’t a great game.
Is it a giant leap in the direction of change for developers? Sure. Am I all for that? Absolutely. I applaud Quantic Dream in it’s effort to bring something new and original to the table. However, as a gamer, I think that the current limits that are put in place on game developers from the hardware capability side, make it hard for a game like Heavy Rain to be great or even good. Is it worth checking out? Yeah probably so, if just for the experience of something new. But from a technical standpoint, Heavy Rain fails to capture the essence of either a movie or a game.
