MSXBox: Alien Breed Evolution Review

Team 17’s latest XBLA outing in Alien Breed: Evolution ushers in the nostalgia with its classy arcade gameplay with the ‘top-down’ shooter approach, and of course plenty of aliens to unload your ammunition into. Alien Breed: Evolution bears some similarities from not only video games, but film as well. The atmosphere and effects are very much reminiscent of the Aliens film, with some great resemblances to EA’s more horrifying Dead Space game; that’s in pacing, gameplay similarities and atmospheric effects.
